Vacancies & Salary Structure
The monthly honorarium is fixed as per the tier classification rules of the Legal Services Authority, without any additional allowances:
- Office Assistant: 01 Post (Fixed Pay: ₹17,000/- per month)
- Receptionist-cum-Data Entry Operator (DEO): 01 Post (Fixed Pay: ₹15,000/- per month)
- Office Peon (Munshi): 02 Posts (Fixed Pay: ₹12,000/- per month)
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational & Technical Qualifications:
- Office Assistant: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Must possess basic computer proficiency, excellent data processing abilities, strong skills in typing/formatting legal briefs, and basic knowledge of administrative office procedures.
- Receptionist-cum-Data Entry Operator: Graduation in any stream. Must have excellent verbal communication skills, a good command over English and the local regional language, and a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute on a computer keyboard.
- Office Peon (Munshi): Must have passed Class 5th (Fifth Standard) or equivalent from a recognized school board. Candidates with past experience in driving four-wheelers or maintaining office records are preferred.
- Age Limit (As of the advertisement date):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 34 Years for General category candidates.
- Upper Age Relaxations: Up to 39 years for BC, SC, and ST candidates, and up to 44 years for Physically Handicapped (PwD) candidates as per existing state administration directives.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Preliminary screening of physical application layouts based on academic qualifications and relevant experience metrics.
- Skill / Typing Test: Required for the Receptionist-cum-DEO and Office Assistant positions to verify computer typing benchmarks.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a face-to-face interaction before a selection panel to assess general fitness, communication skills, and field knowledge.
How to Apply
- Visit the official online portal of the District Court and navigate to the “Recruitment” or “Notices” section to download the prescribed application form.
- Print out the form on clean A4 paper sheets and fill in all mandatory data fields carefully by hand.
- Collate self-attested photocopies of your educational marksheets, passing certificates, computer qualification diplomas, experience credentials, and identity/age proofs.
- Affix a recent passport-size colored photograph to the marked space on the application layout and sign across the bottom declaration.
- Place the completed application form and all document sets inside a secure outer envelope. Clearly write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [POST NAME] UNDER LADCS” across the top facing surface.
- Submit the application packet in person by dropping it directly into the designated drop box or sending it via Registered Post / Speed Post to the Office of the Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority, before the final closing deadline on 15 June 2026 (5:00 PM).
