- Application fee of Rs. As Per Notice charges must be paid through online mode only.
- Fee Exemption:
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories of West Bengal are exempted from paying the application fee.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) with 40% or more physical disability are also exempted from paying the fee.
- OBC candidates of West Bengal are required to pay the full application fee.
- SC/ST candidates from other States are not eligible for fee exemption and must pay the full fee.
- West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) Recruitment Candidate Selection Process: The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Screening Test (if required):
- A Screening Test may be conducted if a large number of applications are received.
- The test will be MCQ type (Multiple Choice Questions).
- This test is only for shortlisting candidates for the Interview.
- Marks obtained in the Screening Test will NOT be considered for final merit.
- Interview:
- Candidates shortlisted from the Screening Test will be called for an interview.
- Qualifying marks in the interview: 40% for the UR category.
- Candidates who do not secure the qualifying marks will not be considered for final selection.
- Final Selection:
- Final selection will be made based on performance in the Interview only.
- Selection is subject to verification of all eligibility and original documents.
- Language Requirement:
- Candidates must have the ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali.
- This ability will be tested at the time of the interview.

- Photocopies of Mark Sheets
- Educational and experience certificates
