Education Qualification: Candidates applying for Home Guard Volunteers Recruitment 2026 must meet the following eligibility criteria –

General Duty Home Guards (Male & Female):
Applicants must have completed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
Bandmen:
Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Preference may be given to candidates with relevant experience in the music industry.
Home Guard Volunteer Drivers:
Candidates must have passed either Matriculation (10th grade) or Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized educational board. Additionally, applicants should possess a valid driving license and adequate driving experience as per the prescribed norms.
Technical Trademen (Home Guard Volunteers):
Applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board, along with a valid ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution. Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the respective trade will be considered an added advantage.

Physical Standard Test (PST):
