Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognised institute.

In addition, candidates must have:

A valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal under the applicable Coal Mines Regulations.
A valid First Aid Certificate issued by an institute or organisation recognised by DGMS.

Candidates must fulfil all the prescribed qualification and certification requirements before applying.

Work Experience

Candidates must have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience working as an Overman in open-cast coal mines.

The experience must meet the conditions prescribed in the official recruitment notification.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 55 years as on the closing date of the online application.

Age relaxation will apply to eligible candidates according to the applicable Government of India rules.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹45,000.

The initial engagement period will be 5 years, which may be extended by another 2 years based on performance and organisational requirements.
