Eligibility Criteria & Sports Qualifications
Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
Academic Qualification: Passed at least Class 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized Board.
Sports Credentials & Local Club Requirement:
Must be an active local club-level player (holding valid registration with the relevant Cricket Association or Table Tennis Federation).
Represented a State, Union Territory, or India in a recognized National or International competition; OR
Won a medal in the Junior National Championships; OR
Won a medal in the Khelo India Youth Games (above 18 years) or Khelo India Winter/University Games; OR
Represented a recognized University in Inter-University tournaments.
Age Limit Criteria (As on 23.09.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Selection Process & Marks Weightage (Total: 100 Marks)
The selection will be finalized based on a 100-mark evaluation framework:
- Age Scoring (Max 20 Marks): Younger candidates receive higher weightage (e.g., 18–20 years: 20 marks, 20–22 years: 18 marks, decreasing up to age 30).
- Sports Representation (Max 30 Marks):
- Representation of State/UT at National Level: Up to 15 Marks
- Representation of Country at International Level: Up to 15 Marks
- Field Trials (Max 50 Marks):
- Physical Fitness & Endurance: 20 Marks
- Sport-Specific Skills, Technique & Tactical Understanding: 20 Marks
- Behavioral Attributes: 10 Marks
