Educational Qualification
Head Constable (General Duty)
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board/University.
- Equivalent Army qualification may also be accepted for eligible Ex-Army personnel.
Constable (General Duty)
- Passed Matriculation/Class 10 or equivalent from a recognised Board.
- The prescribed educational qualification must be possessed by 11 November 2026.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 23 Years
- The age will be calculated as on 1 August 2026.
The date of birth should fall between 2 August 2003 and 1 August 2008.
Additional age relaxation is available to eligible categories, including SC, ST, OBC and Ex-Servicemen, according to the recruitment rules.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive the following pay scales:
Head Constable (General Duty)
Pay Level: Level 4
Pay Scale: ₹25,500–₹81,100
Constable (General Duty)
Pay Level: Level 3
Pay Scale: ₹21,700–₹69,100
Other admissible allowances such as DA and HRA will be provided according to Government rules.

Selection Process
There is no written examination for this recruitment.
Selection will be conducted through:

- Candidates must qualify at each applicable stage to proceed further.
Physical Standard Test
The basic physical standards include:
Male Candidates
- Height: 170 cm
- Chest: 80 cm unexpanded with a minimum of 5 cm expansion
- Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
Female Candidates
- Height: 157 cm
- Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
Relaxation in height and chest standards is available to candidates belonging to specified categories and areas according to the recruitment rules.
