Educational Qualification

The required qualification depends on the post applied for.

Medical Officer Posts
Relevant postgraduate medical qualification such as MD, MS, DM or DNB in the prescribed speciality.
Relevant post-qualification experience is required for certain positions.

Medical Physicist
M.Sc. in Physics.
Diploma in Radiological Physics or an equivalent AERB-approved qualification.
Radiological Safety Officer certification and relevant experience, where prescribed.

Scientific Officer
Relevant M.Sc., M.Tech. or specialised qualification.
Required professional experience in the relevant field.

Technician Posts
Class 10 or Class 12 qualification, depending on the post.
Relevant ITI, diploma or technical certificate.
Prescribed work experience where required.

Administrative and Accounts Posts
Graduation or a relevant professional qualification.
Several positions require substantial experience in government, PSU or autonomous organisations.

Stenographer
Graduation from a recognised university.
Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Computer qualification and secretarial experience as prescribed.

Upper Division Clerk
Graduation with at least 50% marks.
Computer knowledge is desirable.

Attendant and Trade Helper
Class 10 pass or equivalent.
Relevant experience in office support, maintenance, cleaning or related duties, as specified for the post.

Age Limit

Salary

Selected candidates will receive basic pay according to the applicable Pay Matrix Level.

₹18,000 – 78,800 per month

Additional allowances, including DA, HRA and TA, will be admissible according to TMC rules.

Selection Process

The selection procedure depends on the post.
Interview: Applicable to several senior medical and scientific positions.
Written Examination and Interview: Applicable to specified administrative and scientific positions.
Written Examination and Skill Test: Applicable to selected technical and support positions.
Written Examination: Applicable to certain clerical posts.

For posts requiring both a written examination and interview, the prescribed weightage is generally 60% for the written examination and 40% for the interview, subject to the official recruitment rules.

The written examination may cover subject-specific knowledge or general knowledge, current affairs, mathematics, reasoning, and English, depending on the position.
