Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfil the following qualification requirements:
- Passed Matriculation/Class 10 from a recognised Board.
- Possess an NTC (National Trade Certificate) or NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate) issued by NCTVT in the relevant trade.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
The age is calculated as on the last date for receipt of applications. Relaxation applies to eligible reserved categories according to Government rules.
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹100
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD Candidates: Exempted
The applicable fee should be paid in the prescribed manner mentioned in the official notification.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Shortlisting based on NCTVT/NCVT marks
- Trade Test/Practical Test
- Merit List
- Document Verification
- Medical Fitness Test
The final merit list is prepared using the prescribed 80:20 weightage, with NCTVT examination marks carrying 80% and the Trade Test/Practical Test carrying 20%.
Job Location
Selected candidates will be engaged at Gun & Shell Factory, Kashipur, West Bengal. The application is to be submitted to AWTM, Ichapur as specified in the recruitment notification.
