Educational Qualification

Candidates proposed for the Aspirational Block Fellow position must have:

  • A post-graduate degree in any discipline.
  • The degree should be from a reputed institution approved by UGC or AICTE.

The following qualifications and skills are desirable:

  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of social media
  • Project management skills
  • Relevant experience with development organisations, Government or PSU sectors
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-driven approach
  • Knowledge of the local language of the respective Aspirational Block
  • Higher education in development or rural studies

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is:
Maximum Age: 45 Years
The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2026.

Salary

Selected Aspirational Block Fellows will receive:
Monthly Stipend/Remuneration: ₹55,000
Travel Allowance: Included
The ₹55,000 monthly amount is provided through the outsourced agency and includes travel allowance.

Selection Process

The outsourced agency will screen eligible candidates and prepare rankings based on academic qualifications and other relevant criteria.

The selection process carries 100 marks:

  • Presentation & Communication Skills: 30 Marks
  • Data Analysis using Excel: 30 Marks
  • Social Media Knowledge: 10 Marks
  • Project Management Skills & Relevant Experience: 20 Marks
  • Personality Test/Viva Voce: 10 Marks

A successful candidate pool will be maintained in a 1:3 ratio, with the second and third-ranked candidates kept on the waiting list for one year.
