Salary & Pay Scale

Pay Scale: ₹19,900/- per month baseline (Pay Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission matrix).
Selected candidates qualify for standard central government allowances, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and transport facilities as per applicable service guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid technical ITI Certificate in the respective trade from a government-recognized institution; OR
- Must have passed Class 8 (VIII Standard) from a recognized school board along with a minimum of 1 year of documented practical experience in the respective trade.
- Additional Mandatory Standard for MV Mechanic: Candidates applying for the Motor Vehicle Mechanic trade must hold a valid Driving License for both Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) and Light Motor Vehicles (LMV).
Age Limit (Determined as of July 1, 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (For General / EWS candidates)
- Upper Age Relaxations: Extended by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and up to 40 years for regular Government Servants. Standard military service deductions apply for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) profiles.

Application Fee

General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹500/- (Payable via a non-refundable Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in Favor of the designated Senior Manager of the processing cell).
SC / ST / Female Candidates: ₹0 (Completely Exempted)

Selection Process

The screening setup evaluates core capabilities through hands-on qualification tracking rather than conventional descriptive written exams:

Application Scrutiny: Preliminary verification of birth certificates, ITI passing credentials, trade experience logs, and heavy vehicle driving extract sheets.
Competitive Trade Test: Eligible candidates will receive an interview call letter to appear for a practical trade test designed to evaluate technical competence, machine operation precision, and troubleshooting mastery in their respective disciplines.
