    • Higher engineering degrees such as B.E. / B.Tech in relevant disciplines are also accepted.
  • For Depot Material Superintendent (DMS):
    • Three-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute OR B.E. / B.Tech in any engineering branch.

Age Limit Criteria

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of four sequential stages:

  2. 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II): 150 Objective MCQs (120 minutes) covering General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computers & Applications, Environment & Pollution Control, and Technical/Domain Abilities.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Scrutiny of original certificates and mark sheets.
  4. Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical fitness evaluation adhering strictly to Railway Medical Standards (e.g., A-3, B-1, B-2 standards depending on the post).

(Note: A negative marking of 1/3rd mark applies for each incorrect answer in both CBT-I and CBT-II).
