South Eastern Railway (SER) has invited online applications for Various Sports Quota vacancies for 2026–27. Eligible sportspersons can apply for Group C Level-4/5, Group C Level-2/3 and Group D Level-1 posts. The application process started on 31 October 2026 and closes on 30 November 2026.

Educational Qualification

  • Level-4/5: University degree or equivalent.
  • Level-2/3: 12th pass or other qualifications specified in the notification.
  • Level-1: 10th pass, ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Candidates must also fulfil the prescribed sports achievement criteria. Eligible sports achievements must generally be from championships held on or after 1 April 2024.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years as on 1 January 2027. No age relaxation is permitted under this recruitment notice.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive pay under the 7th CPC:

  • Level-4/5: Grade Pay equivalent ₹2,400/₹2,800
  • Level-2/3: Grade Pay equivalent ₹1,900/₹2,000
  • Level-1: Grade Pay equivalent ₹1,800

Application Fee

  • General/OBC: ₹500
  • SC/ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities and EBC: ₹250

Eligible candidates who appear in the sports trials will receive the applicable refund after deductions as prescribed.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

  • Sports trials
  • Sports and educational certificate verification
  • Medical fitness
  • Marks distribution: Sports achievements – 50, trial performance – 40, educational qualification – 10.
