Educational Qualification Requirements
Academic Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent recognized by the Central Government.
Special Requirement for Police (Male Candidates Only): Male candidates applying for Sub-Inspector in Police must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT). Candidates who do not have a valid LMV driving license are eligible only for CAPF posts.

Selection Process
- The recruitment comprises four successive stages:
- Paper-I (Computer-Based Test):
- 200 Questions | 200 Marks | Duration: 2 Hours
- Subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Qs / 50 Marks), General Knowledge & General Awareness (50 Qs / 50 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Qs / 50 Marks), English Comprehension (50 Qs / 50 Marks).
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Endurance Test (PET): Qualifying in nature; mandatory to appear in Paper-II.
- Paper-II (Computer-Based Test):
- English Language & Comprehension: 200 Questions | 200 Marks | Duration: 2 Hours.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Document Verification: Rigorous medical evaluation by medical boards of CAPFs and certificate verification.
