Remuneration & Compensation

  • Honorarium & Perks: Remuneration is paid as a daily performance-based honorarium compiled strictly in alignment with the standing norms and orders of the West Bengal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (WBSRLM).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Gender Prerequisite: Open strictly to female candidates only.
  • Mandatory SHG Institutional Credentials:
    • Must be an active member of an active Self-Help Group (SHG) registered under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) for a minimum continuous period of 2 years.
    • The applicant must possess a valid, active member profile database code logged into the centralized NRLM MIS (LokOS) portal.
    • Ineligibility Standard: SHG members currently holding regular paid portfolios with other administrative structures (e.g., ICDS Anganwadi workers, ASHA activators, Village Resource Persons/VRPs), members acting as active office bearers of a Sangha Cooperative/Upasangha board, or those with a Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) political portfolio are strictly barred from applying.
  • Educational & Technical Qualifications:
    • Must have passed the Higher Secondary (Class 12 / 10+2 standard) with a Commerce background; OR hold a Graduate Degree in any stream from a recognized university (higher academic degrees receive analytical preference during evaluation panels).
    • Core Skills: Must possess functional working knowledge of manual double-entry bookkeeping and accounting setups.
    • Technical Literacy: Foundational basic computer operational training (handling MS Word, Microsoft Excel data sheets, and Internet browsing loops) is highly desirable.
  • Age Limit (Evaluated as of January 1, 2026):
    • Maximum Age: 40 Years
    • Age Verification Document: Secondary school board admit card or certificate containing the statutory birth details.

Selection Process

The final recruitment empanelment relies on two competitive evaluation stages:

  1. Written Examination (80 Marks): A competitive offline screening test comprising multiple-choice objective questions (MCQs) mapped to assess general aptitude, primary commercial book-keeping concepts, arithmetic calculations, and language literacy parameters.
  2. Personal Interview (20 Marks): Scoring qualifiers from the written examination will face a district evaluation selection committee to check verification sheets, communication behavior, accounting familiarity, and field problem-solving fitness.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official online administrative portal of the district: purbabardhaman.nic.in. Open the notices or recruitment column to download and print the matching Prescribed Application Proforma. Alternately, you can collect the physical printout directly from the DMMU & DRDC District Office or from any local Block Development Office (BDO) across the district.
  2. Complete all structural fields on the printout format by hand using clean black ink. Ensure you enter your unique NRLM MIS Code (LokOS) on the explicit data line.
  3. Collate self-attested photocopies of your validation documents:
    • Madhyamik / Class 10 Admit Card (as valid age proof).
    • Final Higher Secondary / Graduate marksheets and passing degrees.
    • Commercial accounting or basic computer training institution certificates (if applicable).
    • Residential Address proof certificate (Voter ID card or Resident certificate).
    • Valid SHG active track record documents certifying your 2-year membership loop.
  4. Affix a recent passport-size colored photograph to the square layout block and apply your signature script firmly inside the lower template box.
  5. Seal the complete document bundle inside a secure cover envelope. Superscribe the top-facing boundary surface of the envelope with: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF COMMUNITY AUDITOR UNDER ANANDADHARA”.
