Salary Structure

  • Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480/- per month (In the scale of ₹48,480 – ₹85,920)
  • Approximate Gross Emoluments: Around ₹74,000 to ₹76,000/- per month during the initial period, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other standard banking perks as per the current bipartite settlement rules.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification (As of July 21, 2026):
    • Must hold a 10th Pass / 12th Pass / Graduation Degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
    • The final result/mark sheet must have been officially declared on or before the application closing cutoff.
  • Age Limit (As of July 1, 2026):
    • Minimum Age: 20 Years
    • Maximum Age: 35 Years
    • Relaxation Rules: Upper age boundaries are relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Selection Process

The competitive tier model utilizes three elimination stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Qualifying): An online objective test consisting of 100 marks split into three distinct sectional buckets (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability) with separate 20-minute timings. Candidates must clear individual sectional cutoffs to qualify.
  2. Main Examination (Merit Core): An online test totaling 225 marks combining objective trade sections (Reasoning, General/Banking Awareness, English, Data Analysis) and a descriptive paper (Essay & Letter Writing). A negative marking deduction of 0.25 marks applies for every incorrect choice.
  3. Personality Test & Interview: Shortlisted candidates face an interview panel carrying 100 marks. The final merit tier and allotment list are computed by combining the Main Exam and Interview scores in an 80:20 weightage ratio.
