Group A – 10th Class Passed (100 Seats)
- Draftsman (Mechanical): 20 Posts

Group B – ITI Passed (355 Seats)
- Fitter Structural (Ex-ITI Fitter): 50 Posts

Stipend Scale
- Remuneration Model: Selected apprentices are paid a monthly consolidated training stipend calculated strictly in compliance with the rules set by the Apprentices Act, 1961. The final scale corresponds directly to the designated trade group metrics.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Group A (10th Pass): Passed Class 10 (SSC) from a recognized school board. If evaluated via the best-of-5 criteria, general science and mathematics are mandatory subjects. ITI holders are not permitted to register under this group.
- Group B (ITI Pass): Passed Class 10 along with a full-time regular ITI Certificate in the corresponding trade from a government-recognized NCVT or SCVT-approved institute. General, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (passing marks only for SC/ST).
- Group C (8th Pass): Passed Class 8 from a recognized school with science and mathematics. ITI-passed candidates are not eligible for this group.
- Age Limit (Evaluated as of October 1, 2026):
- Group A (10th Pass): 15 to 19 Years
- Group B (ITI Pass): 16 to 21 Years
- Group C (8th Pass): 14 to 18 Years
- Upper Age Relaxations: Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Selection Process
The final intake list is compiled following a multi-tier assessment cycle:
- Online Written Examination (CBT): A computer-based competitive aptitude test mapped with post-level specific subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English, and General Knowledge).
- Merit Evaluation & Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted performers are selected based on examination scores to present original academic transcripts, trade papers, and valid identification documents.
- Medical Examination: Meeting the mandatory health and physiological fitness benchmarks certified by the institutional medical board block.
How to Apply
