Educational Qualification

  • For Class-IV (MTS) posts, candidates must have passed Matriculation / Class 10. The maximum qualification permitted for the post is 10+2.
  • For Sanitation Worker posts, candidates must have passed at least Class 8. The maximum qualification permitted is 10+2.
  • Candidates must fulfil the post-specific eligibility requirements prescribed in the official notification.
  • Candidates from outside the prescribed domicile category are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age is 18 years.
  • For Open Merit candidates, the maximum age is 40 years as on 1 January 2026.
  • For SC, ST-1, ST-2, RBA, ALC/IB, OBC and EWS candidates, the maximum age is 43 years.
  • For PwBD candidates, the maximum age is 42 years.
  • Additional age relaxation may be available for eligible casual workers and other categories according to the applicable rules.

Salary

Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level SL-1.

Pay Scale: ₹14,800 – ₹47,100

Other admissible allowances and benefits will be provided according to the applicable service rules.

Application Fee

  • General / OBC / ALC-IB / RBA Candidates: ₹600
  • SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / EWS / PwBD Candidates: ₹500
  • The applicable fee must be paid online during the application process.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by document verification.

The written examination may be conducted in OMR-based or online mode.

The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions and will be conducted in English.

There will be negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for every incorrect answer.

Merit and Preference

The final merit will be prepared by combining the marks obtained in the written examination with applicable additional points.

Additional points may be awarded for factors such as:

  • Family member not in Government service
  • Widows, divorced women and orphan girls
  • Eligible casual workers
  • Home division or district candidature, where applicable

Cadre and department allocation will be made according to merit and candidate preferences, subject to the applicable recruitment rules.
