Educational Qualification Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the post-specific academic requirements from a recognized Board, Technical Council, or University:
- Trade Apprentice (ITI Electrician): Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) with a regular, full-time ITI in Electrician trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Civil) from a recognized State Board of Technical Education / University.
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): Full-time 4-year B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Computer Science from an AICTE-recognized University or Institute.
- Graduate Apprentice (HR / Non-Technical): Full-time Graduate Degree with MBA (HR) / MSW / Post Graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent from a UGC/AICTE-recognized institution.
- Passing Year Rule: Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination within the past 2 years from the cutoff date. Those with prior job experience of 1 year or more, or who have already undergone apprenticeship training, are not eligible.
Age Limit Criteria
- Minimum Age: 18 Years (as on the application cutoff date)
- Age Relaxations: Standard age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India apprenticeship rules.
Selection Process
The selection is conducted without any written examination or interview:
- Merit List Preparation: Shortlisting is based purely on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / Degree marks).
- Tie-Breaking Rule: In case of identical aggregate percentages, the candidate older in age is placed higher on the merit list.
- Document Verification (DV): Verification of original academic certificates, semester mark sheets, category certificates, and photo identity proofs.
- Medical Fitness Assessment: Pre-engagement medical fitness check as per organizational standards.
