Vacancy Distribution & Pay Matrix

The recruitment drive aims to fill essential stenographic, clerical, typing, and ground support vacancies within the judicial administration:

  • Peon: 34 Posts (Pay Level: ₹17,000 – ₹28,950/- per month)
  • Typist-Copyist: 11 Posts (Pay Level: ₹21,400 – ₹42,000/- per month)
  • Typist: 10 Posts (Pay Level: ₹21,400 – ₹42,000/- per month)
  • Stenographer Grade-III: 06 Posts (Pay Level: ₹27,650 – ₹52,650/- per month)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational & Technical Qualifications (Post-Wise):
    • Stenographer Grade-III: Must have passed the Class 10 (Senior Secondary / 10+2) examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
      • Mandatory Skill Standard: Must have passed senior-grade examinations in shorthand and typewriting in both English and the primary regional language.
    • Typist & Typist-Copyist: Must have passed the Class 12 (10+2) examination or its equivalent.
      • Mandatory Skill Standard: Must have passed the junior/senior grade typewriting examinations in both English and the primary regional language.
    • Peon: Must have passed the Class 10 (Matriculation / SSLC) examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized school board.
  • Age Limit (As of the application closing cutoff):
    • Minimum Age: 18 Years
    • Maximum Age: 35 Years for General Merit candidates.
    • Upper Age Relaxations: Extended up to 38 years for Category 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B backward class applicants, and up to 40 years for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Category-1 candidates as per standard state reservation rules.

Application Fee

Selection Process

The screening methodology relies on performance across specific skill matrices and viva-voce interactions:

  1. Academic Merit Screening: Initial shortlisting of applicants based on aggregate percentages obtained in their qualifying examinations (Class 10 or Class 12).
  2. Skill / Trade Test: Shortlisted candidates for Stenographer, Typist, and Typist-Copyist roles must clear practical shorthand transcription and typing speed accuracy challenges (Qualifying in nature).
  3. Personal Interview / Viva-Voce: A face-to-face interaction carrying 15 Marks to evaluate character, temperament, and suitability for the judicial environment. Final merit ranking is computed directly from the interview performance.
