Salary Structure

Pay Scale: Placed under the Level-2 Pay Matrix framework, matching the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations.
Basic Pay: Minimum admissible initial pay of ₹19,900/- per month as per internal financial circular guidelines.
Note: Selected candidates will undergo a mandatory 3-year probation period, during which they will receive the minimum admissible basic pay before regular variable allowances are fully structured.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational & Technical Qualifications:
- For CRA 317/2026: Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) or its equivalent qualification along with a mandatory National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the Lineman Trade.
- For CRA 318/2026: Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) or its equivalent qualification alongside a regular full-time ITI Certificate in the Electrician or Wireman trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.
Mandatory Language Condition: Candidates must have studied and passed the Regional State Language as a compulsory or elective subject at the Matriculation (Class 10th) level or its equivalent up to the registration closing dates.
Age Limit (As of January 1, 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 37 Years for General/Unreserved category applicants.
- Upper age relaxation applies strictly as per prevailing government guidelines: up to 42 years for SC/BC, up to 47 years for PwD, and specialized limits for internal contractual staff, widows, or divorced women.

Selection Process

Online Written Examination (CBT): An objective evaluation pattern divided into two standard processing blocks:
- Part I: Regional Language Qualifying Test (50 Multiple Choice Questions). This section is strictly qualifying in nature and requires a minimum threshold score of 50% marks to clear. There is no negative marking penalty in this phase.
- Part II: Domain-Specific Technical Knowledge & General Aptitude Test. This section is used to determine final rankings on the absolute merit list. General category candidates require a minimum of 25% to qualify, while reserved streams require 20%.
Document Verification: Selected merit candidates will be invited to produce original academic transcripts, technical ITI/NAC trade frameworks, and category certificates.
