Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Attender: Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognized school board.
    • Watchman-cum-Gardener: Must have passed Class 7 or Class 8 standard from a recognized institution.
  • Experience & Desired Skills:
    • Watchman-cum-Gardener: Prior practical experience in agriculture, gardening, or horticulture operations is required.
    • Language Prerequisite: Candidates must be fully conversant and fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the local regional language.
    • Domicile Status: Applicants should ideally be residents of the same state/district where the training center is operating.
  • Age Limit (As of June 30, 2026):
    • Minimum Age: 22 Years
    • Maximum Age: 39 Years (Must be less than 40 years of age and possess good physical health).

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Shortlisting: Screening of submitted paper files against baseline qualification benchmarks, experience fields, and local residency markers.
  2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a face-to-face interview with a selection panel. Final placement relies strictly on performance in this interactive evaluation.

How to Apply

  1. Navigate to the official digital portal of the bank: centralbankofindia.co.in.
  2. Locate the “Recruitments” column and download the notification document enclosing Annexure-A (the application template layout).
  3. Print the application form out on clean paper and populate all background fields neatly by hand in block letters.
  4. Prepare self-attested photocopies of your supporting documents:
    • Age proof document (Class 10 marksheet or school leaving certificate).
    • Final educational marksheets or school pass certificates.
    • Documented experience letters (specifically tracking gardening/agriculture work if applying for the watchman profile).
    • Valid resident identity proof certificates.
  5. Affix a recent passport-size coloured photograph to the designated box and sign across it.
  6. Seal your completed application packet inside a secure envelope. Superscribe the cover envelope with bold text stating: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [ATTENDER / WATCHMAN-CUM-GARDENER] ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS FOR THE YEAR 2026-27”.
  7. Dispatch the folder using Speed Post or Registered Post to ensure it reaches the address of the regional recruitment unit cell indicated in the official notice before the 09 July 2026 cutoff closing time.
