Vacancies & Stipend Details
- Diploma Apprentices (Engineering & Non-Engineering): 315 Posts (₹10,900/- per month)
- Trade Apprentices (ITI – Electrician / Fitter): 889 Posts (₹10,560/- per month)
- Trade Apprentices (ITI – Welder): Vacancies included in Trade block (₹9,600/- per month)
- Paramedical Apprentices (Degree holders): 169 Posts (₹13,700/- per month)
Educational Qualification:
- Trade (ITI) Apprentice: Class 10th (Matriculation) pass + ITI Certificate (NTC/STC) in the respective trade from a recognized institute.
- Diploma Apprentice: 3-year Diploma in Engineering or relevant non-engineering stream.
- Paramedical Apprentice: Degree or Diploma in the respective paramedical discipline (B.Sc Nursing, BPT, DMLT, D.Pharma, etc.).

Selection Process
- Merit Listing: Selection is based purely on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (No written test or interview).
- Tie-Breaking Rule: Older candidates based on Date of Birth are preferred if marks match.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination: Medical fitness evaluation as per Mines Rules, 1955.

How to Apply
- Make sure you are registered on the official national apprenticeship web frameworks before applying:
- ITI Trades: Register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
- Degree / Diploma Streams: Register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in).
- Once your portal profile is 100% complete, visit the official NCL website: nclcil. in.
- Go to the “Careers -> Recruitment” tab and click on the NCL Apprentice Engagement 2026 link.
- Fill out the online application link using your NAPS/NATS enrollment ID.
- Upload clear scanned copies of your Matriculation marks card, ITI/Diploma/Degree certificate, caste certificate, and a recent passport-size photograph.
- Verify your inputs and click Submit. Keep a printout of the confirmation summary page for documentation check rounds.
