Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
Graduation must have been completed on or after 1 April 2022.
Applicants must be able to read, write, speak and understand the local language of the State or Union Territory selected.
Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship, are currently undergoing one, or have one year or more of post-qualification training or job experience may be ineligible under the notification.
Age Limit
The age will be calculated as on 1 October 2026.
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
Age relaxation is available for eligible categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10–15 years, depending on category
Salary
- Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650 for one year of training.
- UCO Bank contribution: ₹10,500 per month
- Government contribution through DBT: ₹6,150 per month
This is an apprenticeship programme, not permanent bank employment. No guarantee of a permanent job is provided after training.

- UR/EWS/OBC Male: ₹800 + GST
- UR/EWS/OBC Female and Transgender: ₹600 + GST
