Vacancies & Stipend Details
- Total Training Seats: 4,500
- Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000/- per month fixed for the entire training year.
- Note: No other allowances, bonuses, boarding, or lodging expenses are paid by the bank during the 12-month training period.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Crucial Condition: Candidates must have completed their graduation on or after May 31, 2022. Anyone who graduated before this date or possesses more than one year of prior work/training experience is ineligible.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must be highly proficient in the local language of the state they apply for (ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language is required).
- Age Limit (As of May 31, 2026):
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years (Candidates must have been born between 31.05.1998 and 31.05.2006, both days inclusive).
- Upper age relaxations apply as per Government of India guidelines: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 10 to 15 years for PwBD candidates.

Selection Process
- Online Written Examination: An objective-type test consisting of sections covering Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Basics of Banking, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and English Language Proficiency.
- Local Language Proof / Test: Candidates who do not have the local language as a subject in their 10th or 12th standard marksheets will undergo a local language proficiency test before final selection.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination.
How to Apply
- Mandatory Portal Registration: Go to the official Government of India NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in. Create a profile, complete your e-KYC validation, and secure your unique Enrollment ID.
- (Bank Application): Visit the official Central Bank of India website at centralbankofindia.co.in and navigate to the “Careers” section.
- Click on the registration link for “Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026-27” which redirects to the registration panel.
- Complete the One-Time Registration using an active mobile number and email ID.
- Fill out the application layout completely with personal details, academic percentages, and your NATS enrolment number.
- Upload clear scanned copies of your passport photo, signature, left thumb impression, and your graduation certificate.
- Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI.
- Submit the form and download a printed copy of the final application receipt before the deadline on 22 June 2026.
