Educational Qualification
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent.
Candidates must also have proficiency in the local language prescribed for the participating RRB.
Working knowledge of computers is desirable.
Officer Scale-I
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent.
Preference may be given to candidates having degrees in:

- Pisciculture
- Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation

Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
Preference may be given to candidates having qualifications in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
Candidates must also have at least 2 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II – Specialist Officers
Educational qualifications and experience vary by specialist post.

Candidates must fulfil the prescribed professional qualification and experience requirements for the particular post.
Officer Scale-III

Candidates must also meet the prescribed experience requirement.
Age Limit
The age limits vary according to the post:
- Office Assistant: 18 to 28 years
- Officer Scale-I: Above 18 years and below 30 years
- Officer Scale-II: Above 21 years and below 32 years
- Officer Scale-III: Above 21 years and below 40 years
Age relaxation is available for eligible reserved categories according to Government rules.
Generally:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Additional concessions may be available for eligible ex-servicemen, widows, divorced women and other categories as prescribed in the notification.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary according to the applicable pay scale of the respective Regional Rural Bank.
The posts carry banking-sector salary, allowances and other benefits applicable to the respective officer or Office Assistant scale.
