Trade & Discipline Classifications
The technical and non-technical seats are divided into specific post categories:
- Technician Apprentice: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Instrumentation, and Electronics & Telecommunication engineering tracks.
- Trade Apprentice: Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Electronics Mechanic, and Instrument Mechanic.
- Graduate Apprentice: BA, B.Sc, B. Com, and BBA non-technical options.
- Data Management Cadres: Data Entry Operator (DEO – Fresher) and Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders).
Stipend & Benefits
- Monthly Stipend: Prescribed exactly in line with the revised guidelines under the Apprentices Act, 1961 / 1973, and Apprentices Rules.
- Additional Perks: Selected candidates receive a consolidated monthly miscellaneous allowance of ₹2,500/- alongside statutory training facilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Technician Apprentice: Full-time regular 3-year Diploma in the corresponding engineering stream from a government-recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): Regular full-time 2-year ITI course in the respective trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time regular Bachelor’s degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA) from a recognized university.
- Data Entry Operator: Passed Class 12 (10+2 standard) from a recognized school board. Domestic DEO applicants must hold a valid regional skill certificate.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Upper Age Relaxations: Standard relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD candidates matching Central Government rules.
Selection Process
The filtering architecture focuses entirely on qualification merit rather than traditional descriptive testing methods:
- Academic Merit Screening: Generation of structural merit ranks calculated directly from the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the core qualifying examinations (Degree/Diploma/ITI/Class 12).
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted profiles will receive an email invitation to present original academic sheets and category proofs.
- Pre-Engagement Medical Examination (PEME): Meeting the baseline medical fitness parameters specified by the corporate medical board guidelines.
